Debo Samuel acted on commanders: Fantasy Football Impact

The Washington commanders have acquired Debo Samuel from the 49s for a fifth round. This trade increases the fantasy prospects for QB Jayden Daniels in the second year, which now has another dynamic playmaker with which he can work together after an impressive rookie of the year campaign.

Samuel's arrival gives Washington passing a new facet, but contains some concerns about Terry McLaurin's fantasy value. McLaurin was the clear WR1, but Samuel's versatility as a runner and recipient was able to cut into his target.

In view of the continued development of Daniels and a criminal offense that is expected to take a step forward, there should still be enough volume to keep both recipients with imaginative relevant to the imagination.

As for Samuel, his fantasy value does not change significantly with the exception of the adaptation to a new crime outside of Kyle Shanahan's system. It remains a fixed WR2, while McLaurin shows a slight return of the WR2/WR3 level.

This trade increases Daniels as a fantasy QB1 candidate and gives Washington an urgently needed thrust.
