Defense of the tennis team at CIF Champion University Boys at another quick start –

The Tennist team of the University High School, which has conquered the CIF, the regionally in South California and the regionally in South California State championships last year, Is a quick start this season and has a 10: 1 record.

The university conquered its third CIF Open Division in a row Crown last year.

“The university boys have another strong team,” said experienced coach John Kessler. “We have seven of nine players who return. The boys are one of our top players, the second year Rishvanth Kusa, one of the nation's best junior players. Arystarkh Len and Jihyuk IM, our number two to three individual players are also back. “

Two of the three double teams: Cedric Lichtteiner/Joe Chan and Langston Walter-Wu/Mimo Alajeely return.

“We are also lucky enough to have a very talented group of boys who will call up our starting line -up, including Daniel Zhu, Tyler Chandler, Reid Hashimoto and Arjun Appa in the second year,” said Kessler.

Last weekend, Uni defeated at the National High School All-American Tournament Seattle Prep 6-0, the Iolani School 4-2 and the Menlo School 4-2 before losing the Hawaii Punahou School in the final.

“This is the 11th time that the university boys played more than any other school in the final of this tournament,” said Kessler.
