Demonstrators hold an “action day” in the national parks

Over the weekend, several US national parks took place at the weekend to record a nationwide “action day” after a wave of federal shaders by the Trump government.

The administration announced the recent work cuts last month, which led to the discharge of around 1,000 National Park Service workers and 3,400 US Forest Service employees. This has triggered concerns about the future maintenance and protection of public areas.

The organizers gathered locally in the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area and National in the Yosemite National Park.

The Democrats of the Tehama district said they gathered in whiskeytown to work as part of the campaign day for national park.

Almost a hundred people took part in the demonstration in the visitor center on Saturday to support the recreation area.
