Diddy's lawyers claim CNN changed video by Cassie Ventura Assault

The lawyers of Sean “Diddy” Combs claim in his federal case that the Bombhell CNN video, which showed the rap mogul, showed that he had supposedly abused his ex-girlfriend and singer Cassie Ventura on March 5, 2016 and the original film material was destroyed.

In the surveillance video – published by CNN on May 17, 2024 – Ventura, 38, left a hotel room in the Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles and went to a bench of elevators, 55 years old, and followed her after carrying a white towel for his waist and socks. When he reached her, Combs grabbed her on her neck and threw her to the ground. Combs then turned to kick her violently when he grabbed her handbag and suitcase.

When Ventura was motionless, Combs stepped again and dragged her briefly towards the direction of the spatial direction before she let go of and left. Seconds later, he sat on a chair, grabbed an object from a table and threw it violently to her.

Combs can then be seen how it deals and turns back towards Ventura when a elevator door opens and someone seems to leave. The video shows how Combs Ventura grabbed, push and kick during a discussion, which corresponded to the allegations that she had brought in a lawsuit submitted in November 2023.

“The fragrant video has only further confirmed Mr. Combs's troubling and predatory behavior. Words cannot express the courage and strength that Ms. Ventura has shown to bring this to light, “said Ventura's lawyer Douglas H. Wigdor in a statement received by people in 2024.

Last year Combs published an apology video in which the incident deals. “I take full responsibility for my actions in this video,” he said on May 19, 2024. “I was disgusted when I did it when I was disgusted. I went and searched for professional help, went to therapy and went to rehab.

In the submission of New York City on Thursday, March 13, Combs' Legal Team claimed that CNN bought the only known copy of the surveillance material, uploaded it to free processing software and edited the original video.

“All CNN video materials have been significantly changed in a considerable point of view,” says the letter to the judge Arun Subramanian. “This includes covering the time stamp and changing the video sequence. It also includes accelerating the video so that the actions in the video take place faster than you. As a result, the CNN videos do not show the events in question.”

In the letter, CNN continued to destroy the original film material, “although he knew about the federal investigations about the federal investigation and reported repeatedly”.

“It is not surprising that COMBS would make an insignificant argument to exclude the disturbing video from the jury in the upcoming legal proceedings,” said Ventura's lawyer Wigdor in a statement to People. “I am confident that the video is pretty and accurate what has happened, evidence is approved and that combs are held accountable for its corruption.”

Representatives of CNN did not immediately answer the request of the people for a comment. The Combs legal team had no further comment.

When registering, it is found that the video is dealt with in an upcoming application. “We will pass on the government's pre -charged materials so that it will be willing to react to the defense application on this topic,” the letter said.

In September 2024, Combs was charged with conspiracy, sex trade with violence, fraud or coercion and transport to prostitution. He is currently imprisoned at MDC-Brooklyn when he is waiting for his eight-week process from May 5th.
