Disaster aid deadlines for palisades fire sacrifice, time to run

Aids, Fema aid and inexpensive loans are still available

Residents and business owners who are affected by the palisade fires only have a limited time to apply for disaster relief, with several important deadlines approaching quickly, officials said.

The Los Angeles County Website Recovery.LACONTY.com is an excellent resource for those who need help to know what is available and what requirements they have.

Small business owners, workers and even those who did not live in the affected area but lost due to the fire can be considered for aid programs. In addition, inexpensive loans are available to those who need financial support to start reconstruction.

From this week, the disaster recovery centers in Altadena and the UCLA Research Park West will be closed on Sundays. The new operating times will take place from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Financial Fema – March 10, 2025

Residents who participate in the removal of ruins should be aware of deadlines in order to transmit the right to entry forms for cleaning dangerous waste in phase 1 and the removal of the general deposits of phase 2.

The Army Corps of Engineers has set up a rubble Center at (213) 308-8305 for questions about removal of deposits in phase 2. The operators are available daily from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Residents and companies are encouraged to act quickly before the upcoming deadlines to ensure that they receive the help they need.
