The judgment of the Match Review Panel on a controversial early incident during the defeat of Warrington Wolves against Wigan Warriors in Las Vegas has now been announced.

Lachlan Fitzgibbon, the second wire, had to be the victim of a suspected “crusher” by Wigan Prop Liam Byrne at an early stage, with the match referee Chris Kendall put the incident in the report.

After Warrington's 48:24 defeat in the Allegian Stadium, head coach Sam Burgess said that Fitzgibbon could not end the game due to the aftermath of the incident and in question Kendall's decision not to be given a punishment.

And after further review, the MATCH Review committee Byrne considered a dangerous contact for contact for class A, which means that a penalty point is added to its file.

This is the only indictment of the review committee of the game, which comes from the Clash of Vegas, without the Warrington players appear in the three disciplinary charts of the round.

A total of 11 fees were handed over, with Leeds Rhinos Prop Tom Holroyd being exposed to a six-game suspension that could appear in front of the tribunal of operational rules after a dangerous contact charges in class E.
