Documents: Middletown Shooting victims, suspects are family

Louisville, Ky. – On the late Thursday evening, the Louisville Metro police confirmed that the suspect was the son of the victim at the fatal shootout in Middletown.

According to the arrest quote, the Middletown police responded to a report on a shootout to the Winter Springs Court on Wednesday at around 7:20 a.m.

When the officials arrived, they found a man who was later identified as a 65-year-old John “Tommy” Mcquillen and at the sidewalk suffered from a gunshot wound, as documents showed. First aiders transported John to the hospital, where he later died.

Monitoring video showed that Brandon left the area of ​​John's building before shooting. Documents showed that a vehicle from Brandon went away after the shootout.

Brandon was found in the vehicle a few hours later.

Brandon is charged with murder – domestic violence, possession of a firearm by a forbidden person and violates an EPO/DVO in Kentucky. The police said the murder accusation was added while Brandon was in custody.
