Dolphins make the dream of starting the free agency with a huge Bradley Chubb update

The Miami Dolphins are preparing for one of the most important processes by Chris Grier's term as General Manager. The dolphins received more help on Wednesday.

Bradley Chubbs Future was one of the greatest questions of the dolphins. Would Miami bring him back or release it after June 1st? Now the dolphins have made their decision.

According to Tom Pelissero from NFL Network, the dolphins and Chubb have approved a revised contract.

“Chubb wanted to stay in Miami and can earn his full salary through incentives,” reports Pelissero.

It is unclear whether “revised” and “restructured” are the same in the traditional sense or whether something else takes place. We may have to wait for more clarification.

Two weeks ago, Terron Armstead informed the dolphins that he would reduce his salary from 2025 to the veteran minimum to help the team add players while thinking about his future. The NFL salary limit increases and the adapted contracts give Miami room to work.

Bradley Chubb returns from his one -year absence and gives the dolphins a great gift

The defense coordinator Anthony Weaver is the big winner. The defense of the dolphins exceeded expectations without Chubb or Jaelan Phillips most of the season. With Chubb in the field and probably healthy, this group can rise again.

It will be interesting to learn what the incentives are and how easy it is to reach. Chubb has been working in the NFL since 2018, but has spent the last two and a half seasons with Miami. It seemed as if he were ready to return to the team at the end of 2024, but his ACL tear was still a problem.

Since Weaver has another Pass-Rusher who combines Chop Robinson with Chop-Robinson from the second year, the dolphins look pretty good from the edge.
