Domenicali tips Hamilton to win Ferrari in 2025

Stefano Domenicali, Chief Executive Officer from Formula 1, has lit with a self -confident forecast: Lewis Hamilton will win with the Scuderia despite a rocky debut with Ferrari this season.

In the Australian Grand Prix last weekend, Domenicali announced his optimism about the new chapter of the seven -time world champion with his new team.

Hamilton's move to Ferrari, which was announced in early 2024, was one of the greatest topics in sports, and Domenicali believes that the relentless drive of the Brit could soon pay dividends – even after a challenging maiden race in Melbourne.

A new trip begins in Melbourne

Hamilton's transition to Ferrari was shaped by commitment and immersion. The 40-year-old has accepted Italian culture, the processes of the team and even the language to park a motorhome in Maranello near Enzo Ferrari's historical farmhouse.

His first action fortaste came in Albert Park last weekend, but it was far from the dream debut he had hoped for.

In the case of a strategy, there was a remote 10th place in wet conditions, two places behind teammates Charles Leclerc, who also fought in eighth place. It was a downbeat start for a driver who pursued an unprecedented eighth world championship title.

“I had the feeling that I was in deep end today – only everything is new,” admitted Hamilton after the race around Sky Sports F1.

“From the first time I drove this car in the rain, the car behaved much differently than what I have experienced in the past, the engine, all steering functions – all things are thrown to them and they try to juggle them.”

The British directed that a lack of communication tightened its problems.

“Unfortunately, they said in the end that it was only a short shower and the rest of the route was dry, so I said: 'I will stick it out for as long as I can.

“You didn't say that more would come, so suddenly came more, so there was only missing from this information.”

Domenicali sees the fire of a champion

Despite the stumbling block in Melbourne, Domenicali remains intact in his belief in Hamilton. He was based on his own experience as a former team leader of Ferrari and praised the driver's commitment and predicted a triumphal turn.

“For Lewis it is certain that it is a new journey, a new journey that gives him a lot of boost and a lot of energy,” Domenicali told Formel1.com.

“I think that the adaptation he has to make not only on the journey by car, but also to integrate into another community.

The Italian emphasized Hamilton's all-in approach as a key factor.

“If you have in the right fire to ensure that this experience will be positive, you will devote yourself day and night, and that's exactly what he does.

“He told me that he was sleeping in Maranello, he told me that he saw what Ferrari meant for the people in Italy,” he said.

Domenicali believes that this passion will recharge your mind when he adapts to life in red.

A victory on the horizon?

When Domenicali was urged whether Hamilton could achieve a victory in his debut -Ferrari season, Domenicali did not hesitate.

“I think I think it will be great, I have to say with my independent cap! [Leclerc] To push yourself further and it will be good for the entire field of the F1 teams, ”he said.

Its optimism depends on Hamilton's ability to use Ferrari's potential and overcome early hurdles, a view that could shake the 2025 season and track down fans worldwide.

Hamilton's initial joy of testing the Ferrari on the legendary Fiorano stretcher “one of the best feelings of my life”, he called it, was not yet translated into the success of the race day.

But Domenicalis Faith indicates that Melbourne's setback is just a bump on the street for a driver, whose hunger remains inevitable.
