Donors of the heart day collect 160,000 US dollars to support JRMC – Jamestown Sun

Jamestown – The generosity of the community shone at the Giving Hearts Day and donors collected 160,000 US dollars to support the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

“Giving Hearts Day is a remarkable opportunity for our community to bring together and invest in the future of health care,” said Tonya Perkins, director of the JRMC Foundation. “The generosity of our community at the Giving Hearts Day ensures that compassionate, high -quality care remains near home. Thanks to our donors, we can continue to affect the lives of those we serve. “

As a non -profit organization, JRMC is based on the support of donors in the independent medical center to finance essential projects, including patient care, equipment, training of the staff and local health initiatives. This year's contributions helped JRMC to ensure his mission every time to ensure exceptional care to each patient.

Since its foundation in 2008, Giving Hearts Day has collected more than 225 million US dollars in North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota. JRMC was one of 20 non-profit organizations in Jamestown, which took part in this year's 24-hour event, which was organized by the Dakota Medical Foundation.
