Drake's record label tries to have rejected a lawsuit

Drake's record label tries to have rejected his lawsuit against her and argued that he had “encouraged” his feud with Kendrick Lamar.
The Canadian rapper sued the Universal Music Group (UMG) because of the publication and promotion of Kendricks Diss “not like us”, but in their response to the defamation, they argued that the 38-year-old star lost a rap fight, which he provoked “and” sued his own plate label in a misguided attempt to arouse his wound “.
In documents received by the People Magazine, UMG claimed that, although like us' hyperbolic insults, including Drake and his friends as “certified pedophiles”, the Hitmakerhad 'God's plan' used its platform to “promote traces to similar fire attacks” on his rival.
The submission added: “Drake encouraged the feud.
“For example, when he believed that Lamar took too long to react, Drake published a second recording in which he was lamar to continue the public rap fight. Lamar did just that, and together Drake and Lamar published a total of nine tracks.”
The application notes that Drake was “pleased” to see how Umg is advertising tracks that accused Kendrick to deal with domestic abuse and “that one of the business partners and managers of Lamar is the true father of Lamar's son”.
In the submission it was found: “But now after Drake has lost the rap fight, Drake claims that” not “how we” is defamatory. It's not like that. “
The answer also criticized Drake's claim “not how we are” “harassment of a second degree” and the promotion of the song against general legal law in New York.
The document states: “Less than three years ago, Drake himself signed a public petition in which the trend of the prosecutors was criticized that treated the creative expression of artists with artists” as a literal fact. As Drake realized when it comes to rap, “[t]The last work is a product of the artist's vision and imagination.
“Drake was right at the time and is now wrong. The unjustified claims of the complaint against UMG are nothing more than a drake attempt to save the face for his unsuccessful rap fight with Lamar. The court should give an application and reject the complaint with prejudices.”
Drake's lawyer, Michael J. Gottlieb, accused of using a “desperate trick” to avoid “accountability.
He told People Magazine: “Area would like to pretend to distract its shareholders, artists and the public from a simple truth: A greedy company is finally held responsible for benefiting from dangerous misinformation that have already led to several violent clocks.
“This application is a desperate trick of UMG to avoid accounting obligation, but we have the confidence that this case continues to uncover the long history of endangering, abuse and use of UMG.”
