Coffee County, Ga. (Walb) – The Coffee County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) said that you recently received several tips on illegal drug distribution in the community.

They said these tips had led to a search command on Friday, March 14th.

According to a CCSO press, the arrest warrant was carried out by MPs from the drug unit near the Joe Ellis Road in Broxton.

The operation caused cocaine to be uncovered and James Lee Gifford (59) was arrested, according to the press release.

Sheriff Fred Cole said: “The continuing efforts to eliminate drugs from the streets are strongly supported by tips from the community.”

He said that anyone who is involved in the production, sale or buying of drugs in the district should expect to go to prison.
