Due to leaked document notes at New Shelby GT500

Ford has a stable Mustang variants with which it could surprise us at any time. Product planners had the Mach 1 for the previous generation pony, and it has been over a decade since we saw the last Boss 302. These are certainly the love of the fans of cars, but the Shelby Mustangs get a lot of attention, so that a document that allegedly specifies from a local UAW branch that a new GT500 will soon excite us.

The memo, which was published on the Mustang Subreddit, states that Dearborn Motor is planning (DEP) to add an afternoon shift to its “niche assembly line” in order to absorb a volume increase that allegedly corresponds to the 2026 Mustang Shelby GT500, in which Ford builds the F-150 Raptor R motor. It says: “I can hardly wait for us to build engines for such an iconic vehicle with an engine that is called legend.”

The only identifying information about the document is a UAW Local 600 that represents workers in the facility. We have contacted the Union office to confirm the authenticity of the memos but have not yet heard. We will update this story if we do that.

When he reaches from Motor1A Ford spokesman told us that the company could not comment on speculation.

With the start of the Mustang of the Seventh generation, Ford met the floor in 2023 and quickly introduced high -performance variants of his legendary pony car such as the Dark Horse and GTD. The Ecoboost RTR was recently introduced, which lends parts of the dark horse.

However, if Ford continues to work in this way, these special expenses will exist for a few years before making space for something else that may include a new GT500. We have to wait to see.
