Dustin R Womble Football Center

The media were invited to a tour of the Dustin R Womble Football Center. Of course, Jarret had to be present in the Red Raiders. I was armed with two cameras with two different lenses to grasp the appearance of the new and beautiful furnishings. When we entered the building, the first thing we do is see the large bronze statue of the masked driver with a large neon sign behind it. On the left you can see the Texas Tech football sign above the reception and on the right there is a long and narrow video board.

Note: Stand up for more galleries from the facility and open them.

As soon as you come by the Grand Entry of Tom and Annette Culp, go to the trophy room, in which all red Raider football trophies are exhibited. For the media we entered a small waiting room with a large video board. From there we entered a large area that led to different parts of the building. The entire building was very open and filled with news to the members of the football program. The first message was the brand. The same message was distributed throughout the building. Next we reached the massive weight room. The series of different types were in the entire area as well as other different weights and strength building machines. Further messages about strength were placed in the entire area. On one side of the room, Windows showed the exercise field and another door led directly to the Sports Performance Center. Nutrition and hydration stations were placed in the entire building.

Next we made our way to the changing rooms and the players. The first place where you go through are the even exhibition areas with five different even combinations on one side and a shoe display together with a double T in the middle, the Adidas logo below the double T- and Patrick Mahomes Gladiator logo. When you leave the small area, you will see the hairdresser shop. From there you can go to the changing room (which we were not there as the players) and one of the player lounges. The lounges had to do all sorts of things like pool, ping pong and air hockey. The lounge even had to call stands where players can make calls. Another room contained equipment for the recording of podcasts. Other lounges had sofas and chairs with several TVs to play or just watch TV.

The recreation areas are two other areas that seem to be favorites. One area was the hot and cold tub areas. Another were special beds such as chairs of the focal points that help with recovery.

After seeing these areas, we went up to see a look at the second floor. The first thing we saw there was Patrick Mahomes II. A large open area with lawn and lines and a video board that went from one side of the room to the other. We also saw and areas in which Tech shows all the past and presence of the players who played with various NFL teams. From there we went to the main discussion rooms and smaller meeting rooms for position groups. We then went over the Sky Bridge, which took us from the football center to the stadium. After crossing the bridge, we entered and area where all former coaches of Texas Tech showed. On the opposite side of the hall there was a large homage to the former coach Mike Leach.

Finally we followed the path that the red Raiders take on the way to the field.

Stand up in the next few days and open in the next few days to get more pictures from the tour through these new facilities, which must be one of the best football systems in the country.
