East Brunswick Murder examined

East Brunswick – A man from Yorktown Road went to East Brunwick's police department on Friday and said he killed his wife.

According to Yolanda Ciccone, Middlesex County public prosecutor, and the chief of police from East Brunswick, Frank Losacco, the 60 -year -old Ashraf Tawfik was charged with a murder that took place on Friday. Tawfik was charged with the first degree murder and the possession of a third -degree weapon for an illegal purpose and illegal possession of a fourth degree weapon.

At 12:14 p.m. Tawfik entered the police and reported that he killed his wife Marsail Botros, 58.

Botros was declared dead at the crime scene, the authorities said.

Tawfik is recorded in the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center up to the results of a hearing before the experiment.

The investigation is active and continued, the authorities said.
