Chicago (WLS) – The civil office for police responsibility is responding to a shootout affected by officials on the far south side on Friday afternoon.

The shootout occurred in the 3800 block of the East 112th Street of the East Side Viertel, said Copa.

What led to the shootout was not immediately clear.

The authorities did not immediately say whether someone was injured or whether suspects were taken into custody.
