Edelman Fossil Park & ​​Museum receives an opening date

The Edelman Fossil Park & ​​MuseumA new institution in South Jersey for dinosaur lovers has set its opening date for March 29.

The new museum part of Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, offers immersive research into dinosaurs and other prehistoric species.

The Edelman Fossil Park & ​​Museum extends over 44,000 square foot over 123 acres and overlooks a four hectare quarry full of fossils.

A 75 million dollar project that World class museum is only 20 minutes away from Philadelphia.

In addition to its exhibits, the museum comprises a fossil Dig experience, a virtual reality (Free Roam Virtual Reality) and a playground with dinosaur motifs.

“It was precisely here in South Jersey we received millions of history in breathtaking details, with each fossil told its own unique story,” he said.

“We want visitors to have the feeling of stepping into the world of dinosaurs and inspiring, strengthened and ready for the future.”

The highlights in the museum include an interactive gallery that shows the life of the dinosaurs of the east coast 66 million years ago.

Another gallery offers one immersive Underwater trip through the depths of the chalk tean and offers a huge 55-foot mosasaur.

Discovery Forest is an adventure with natural motifs that examines the history of the planet and ends in the museum's theater with demonstrations of animated films.
