An Eden Prairie man who is waiting against the indictment for children's creation in Minnesota and Florida was accused of sexually attacked a 15-year-old boy on Thursday, March 13, in the Hennepin County district court.

Michael Bruce Gillis

The 34 -year -old Michael Bruce Gillis was arrested on Saturday and the next morning after the publication of 250,000 US dollars was released to the bond of $ 250,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the public security facility of Hennepin County in Minneapolis.

Gillis is charged with criminal sexual behavior, a crime with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison and a fine between $ 10,000 and $ 30,000.

The indictment follows a report on March 2 from a woman who told the police that her teenage nerlock had returned after leaving at home and not returned. Later she found sexually explicit news on his iPad by a user called “Nick Miller”, which the investigators identified as Gillis. According to the criminal complaint, the news was sent via a social media app and an online networking site that enables anonymous connections.

In a forensic interview, the teenager told the investigators that he was at home in Gillis and described it in detail what the police later confirmed. He claimed that Gillis had sexually behaved with him before he was able to go after the complaint when Gillis fell asleep.

At the time of the alleged attack, Gillis was already charged in Minnesota and Florida.

In August 2024, he was accused in Bloomington of setting up a minor online. The case was changed in November to increase additional requirements while another indictment was rejected.

Gillis' Minnesota court proceedings against the Bloomington charges are planned for April 7th in front of the Hennepin district court. As part of his pre -judicial release, he was allowed to live under conditions in Florida that made him contact with minors and asked for the approval of judicial trips.
