EID al-Fitr Shooting: 10 people who are charged with the shootout on the Wyalusing Avenue in West Philadelphia

Philadelphia (WPVI) – A total of 10 people were charged with an EID al-Fitr event in West Philadelphia in connection with a shootout.

The investigators say that two groups had opened fire on April 10, 2024 in the 4700 block of the Wyalusing Avenue.

A lot of about 1,000 people was there and marked the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Relatives: Local Muslim leaders condemn violence

On Monday, the public prosecutor's office announced five additional arrests in its investigation.

Officials say they persecuted one of the weapons that were used at the shootout for illegal drug production in Delaware County.
