Election results for the mayor of Tuscaloosa, the Council and the school authority

The surveys in the municipal elections have completed in Tuscaloosa on Tuesday, which sets half a dozen competitive races for the mayor's office, four city council seats and a place in the City School board.

With surveys that were officially closed at 7 p.m., we will soon expect results in all seven districts and we will share them here in real time from every location.

For the mayor's office, the headquarters of the school authority and the city council District 7, incumbents only have a challenger and A winner will certainly be explained on Tuesday, except in the extremely unlikely event of a draw.

In council districts 1, 2 and 6, three candidates run for the seat. In these races, a simple majority is not enough to win the seat today. If no candidate reaches a large number of votes – 50 percent plus one vote -, this is temporarily triggered by a drain election set for the 1st April.

Look for updates, as each polling station returns individually and after the last results for calls to the mayor race.

Note from the editor: We will achieve the results of each district here on the Tuscaloosa thread first and free of charge. Races “0 votes” show for simple formatting until the returns are published and published. There are personal ballots, absent ballot and a small number of preliminary ballot papers that are to be counted for each race. These results apply as precisely as possible, but unofficially until preliminary ballots are worked out and the results will be certified by the city council next Tuesday.
