Emiliana Arango and Emma Navarro will play the last match of the Mérida Open WTA 500

The Colombian Emiliana Arango will be the absolute queen of the Yucatan peninsula this Sunday, March 2, by playing the last game of the Mérida Open WTA 500 Tennis tournament against Emma Navarro from the USA.

The Colombian player has won the win of Cancun Open WTA 150 and will now try to take everything in the region that the Australian Daria Saville defeated in the semi -finals with 6: 3, 4: 6 and 6: 2.

Both players reached the stages from the qualification tournament before the final, so they already had five games under their belts before playing more than two and a half hours on the Central Court of the Country Club Stadium.

The match was very even; Both tried to play their game from their backs of the network, sometimes by climbing into the net, but with lots of emotions and spectacular volleys that gave them points.

The first sentence was Emilianas, who was aggressive in her game, with deep balls and moved into the net, which made the Russian, naturalized Australian into casual mistakes.

But in the second sentence, Daria learned from her mistakes and corrected her style of play and tried to cross the ball every time when the South America got up and she got up unprepared for her. But in the third, Arango got back on his feet with courage and fight.
