Employees of the learning resource center at the National Fire Academy

A world -famous resource on the National Fire Academy (NFA) campus was robbed by her employees, with librarians being released and only one person operated the learning resource center.

Dr. Burt Clark

As Dr. Burt Clark, a member of the fire brigade with over 50 years of experience, heard, he said that he was disappointed with the decision that was very committed.

Dr. Clark said: “It is the largest fire and emergency management library in the world” and added that “employees not only supported students and faculties, but also researchers and others around the world.”

The extensive library included research projects by engineers and scientists as well as papers written by graduates from the Executive Fire Officer programs of the National Fire Academy.

Students who completed various courses often used the center to learn something about a variety of subjects.

Last week, instructors were instructed to make an appointment if they had accepted courses to carry out research. But that's a controversial point after the courses have been canceled.

Dr. Clark added: “It was just an incredible resource,” said Clark, a retired NFA instructor that the staff had helped him over the years.

Mary Marchones statement

Mary Marchone, another retired trainer, also disappointed about the death of the center.

Marchone said: “That makes me sad. This will have an enormous impact on the fire brigade. “

When the Trump government officials released employees from other agencies, Marchone said that she had a “terrible” feeling that the National Fire Academy and the programs were in the Cross hair.

The cancellation of the courses and the closure of the learning center are not easy, she said, adding that the fire brigade would come together to revive it.
