Epic Agricultural Mural von Shohei Ohtani and dog baits are viral in the middle of Tokyo series

In the first game of the Tokyo series, Shohei Ohtani, in his return to his home country Japan, helped to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 4-1 win against the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday. And Ohtani continues to make his country proud when he contracted a Homerun in an exhibition game against the Yomiuri-Giants in two runs on Saturday and then scored two goals at the season opening victory on Tuesday.

In the midst of the Ohtani mania, a photo of a breathtaking agricultural murals, which the Dodgers superstar and his beloved dog bait honor, became viral after it was shown in the FOX broadcast of the Dodgers Cub game.

The approximately 3,000 square meter murals consists of seven types of rice, which were planted in June 2024 by a local volunteer group in his hometown Oshu, Iwate Prefecture. The wall painting also contains the expression “Let's play baseball”.
