Relatives of the nurse attacks say it could have been prevented

West Palm Beach, Florida (CBS12) – Relatives of a nurse who was brutally attacked in the West Hospital Palms.

They expect legal steps to take the hospital and all other companies that they believe were responsible for this incident.

The victim's relatives go through a painful ordeal and watch her mother deal with terrible injuries after being attacked in the Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee last week.

According to her family, Leela Lal, 67, a nurse, is in a stable state in the St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach with a brain hemorrhage, serious injuries on her face and she can be blind permanently.

PBSO says she was beaten heavily in the Palms West Hospital in a third floor.

Published Epstein files, reveals network and top -class names

West Palm Beach, Florida (CBS12) – A number of Epstein files were published on Thursday.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi and the FBI published files in connection with Epstein and his sexual exploitation of over 250 underage girls in his houses in New York and in the Sunshine. The Ministry of Justice states that the files contained documents that were previously leaked through but never published by the US government.

“The first phase of the files published today illuminates the extensive network of Epstein and begins to offer the public for long overdue accountability,” said Bondi.

The published documents include flight protocols, a list of evidence, a contact book and a edited masseuse list.

Remarkable names mentioned in Epstein's 95-page contact book include Florida's own Jimmy Buffet, supermodel Naomi Campbell, Supermodel Janice Dickinson and the actor Chris Evans. Other top -class names are listed below.

Two seriously injured after crash with Brightline train in Jensen Beach

Jensen Beach, Florida (CBS12) – Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a car collided with the Brightline train in downtown Jensen Beach.

Martin County's office announced a photo of the white sedan, which was involved and used in the train collision with a destroyed rear end.

Images of the Brightline train also show that a large part of the front of the train is missing.

The MPs say that both the driver and the passenger are in a serious state.

The shooting of Palm Beach County lets a dead person, you hurt; Suspicious wanted

Non -legal West Palm Beach, Florida (CBS12) – Detectives examine a shootout on Friday, in which a man is dead in non -legal Palm Beach County.

The deputies of the sheriff office (PBSO) in Palm Beach County have to answer reports on a shootout shortly before 10 p.m. in the 1000 block of the Lake Terry in the non -legally capable Palm Beach County.

When they arrived, the MPs stated that they discovered a deceased man and another who suffered from a gunshot wound.

According to PBSO, the injured victim was taken to the hospital for non -life -threatening injuries.

To Iceland Boy Busted: Kodiyakredd arrested for oxycodone, the firearm changed during the traffic stop

Naples, Fla. (CBS12)-Half of the viral rap duo “Island Boys” was arrested on Sunday, which was accused of owning controlled substances and a changed firearm.

A routine traffic stops in Naples on February 23 led to the arrest of 23-year-old Franky Venegas, known as Kodiyakredd by the “Island Boys”, because of the possession of controlled substances and a changed firearm.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) said that the MPs had stopped a yellow corvette at the intersection of the Ölwellstraße and the Immokalee Road at around 9 p.m. The MPs were able to identify the driver and the Venegas via the Florida leader certificates.

During the stop, a plastic bag with white pills on the passenger side was found in a simple look after the affidavit. The pills were identified as an oxycodon, a controlled substance of schedule II. Venegas claimed that the pills were not his and could not provide evidence of a valid recipe.

Another search for the vehicle covered a brown handbag that contained a pistol and its serial numbers removed, together with a cut straw with a white powdery substance. After the affidavit of the arrest, the firearm was sprayed blue and its identifying serial numbers were missing when sliding and run.
