Evacuations south of Hot Springs due to wildland fire – Rapid City South Dakota News, Weather, Sport

Hot Springs, SD – a wild fire that burns south of Hot Springs along Highway 71, also known as Cascade Road, prompted the evacuations on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Sheriff of the River case, the evacuation area south of Country View and Green Acres Roads is located. The last official word from the sheriff's office showed that winds push the fire to the northeast. In a social media post, the sheriff's office asked everyone who lived northeast of the fire to begin to prepare evacuation preparations.

There is still no word for a cause or the size of the fire from Saturday at 3 p.m.
