Evansville Police Department deletes grass fire near the Park Rd. And Rio Vista record

Cheyenne, Wyo. – The police and the Evansville fire brigade recently sent a grass fire.

This is based on a social media post from the Evansville Police Department, which says that the EPD and the EFD were sent on Thursday evening for a call via a grass fire along the Park RD. and Rio Vista.

After the publication, they found a small grass fire as an EPD officer on the west side of the street. They used a fire extinguisher to “put down” it until the fire unit arrived on site.

“There were several citizens outside who watched the fire when the units arrived, and they stated that there was a loud bang shortly before the fire started that sounded as a fireworks,” the publication said. “Memory – the relief of fireworks in the city limits is illegal and it is very responsible with the dry grass.”

The release notes that strong gusts of wind have raised the embers, which led to stain firing from the primary fire source. The publication states that even short gusts of wind increase the risk of running fire. Wind speeds over 10 miles per hour can cause fires to be a high risk and dangerous.

“Many thanks to the citizens who call the fire that made a quick answer possible to suppress the fire before they spread and larger,” says the fire.
