Facts test: Viral dance video of the content manufacturer, which is incorrectly decorated in Delhi CM Rekha Gupta

Neu -Delhi (Vishvas News). A video becomes viral on social media and claims that the woman who dances to a Bollywood song is Delhi Prime Minister Rekha Gupta.

However, the examination of Vishvas News showed that the viral claim is wrong. The woman in this video is not Rekha Gupta, but a content creator.

Instagram user 'Official_pradhan_sandep' shared the viral video on February 23, 2025 with the caption “This is delhi cm Rekha Gupa”.

Investigation

In order to check the authenticity of the virus claim, we extracted key frames of the video and carried out a Google Reverse image search. Our investigation led us to the original video, which was uploaded to Instagram on January 12, 2025 by the Content Creator 'Boldmeeraswag'.

We also found the same video that was uploaded on the YouTube channel and the Facebook page of the content manufacturer on January 16, 2025.

For further confirmation we contacted the national BJP spokesman Dr. VIJAY SONKAR SHASTRI, who described the viral demand as misleading.

Finally, we scanned the Instagram account through the user “Official_Pradhan_Sandep”, who shared the video with the wrong claim and found that the user has around 1800 followers.
