Fedex flight catches the fire after he got together with Vogel during the start of Newark Airport

A FEDEX freight aircraft that drove from Newark to Indianapolis hit a bird on Saturday morning on Saturday morning.

Fedex Flight 3609 hit the bird when he gave up and damaged one of the engines of the Boeing 767, the Federal Aviation Administration announced in a statement.

Videos that circulate on X seem to show the aircraft in the air in flames.

According to the port authority of New York and New Jersey, the aircraft landed at the Newark Liberty International Airport at 8:07 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Three people were on board the flight, reported the Associated Press.

“Our B767 crew declared an emergency and returned to Newark after dealing with the resulting engine damage, including a motor fire,” said Fedex in a explanation shared with NBC News and added that they are grateful for the “fast actions” of the crew and the first aid.

LiveATC recording records the conversation between the crew of the flight and air traffic control after the collision with the bird and the right engine that catches fire.

“Tower, Fedex 3609 – yes, the right engine for a possible bird strike”, one person can be heard. “We have to return to the airport.”

Shortly afterwards, another person believes that she saw the “engine from the right wing”.

The emergency crews reacted to the aircraft after it had landed safely at the airport, as video showed.

Aerospace extreme John Cox said planes like the Boeing 767 were certified to fly with an engine until it has no fuel.

“Now it is just like any other mechanical failure of an engine, they are on a single engine operation,” Cox told NBC News. “There are procedures for this and pilots train for it and it leads to a safe landing,” added Cox.

According to FAA, the plane is deactivated on a runway at the airport. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board examine the incident.

This is not the first aviation incident to make headlines this week.

At the beginning of this week, a Delta Air Lines flight returned to Atlanta after the crew on the plane reported “possible smoke”.

A flight aircraft from American Airlines that drove from New York to Neu -Delhi was diverted to Rome a week ago after a bomb threat to the plane was hit.

The day before, an Australia-bound Delta flight returned to Los Angeles International Airport after Rauch was discovered in his galley.

COX said that these air traffic incidents caused some passengers on traveling additional fears, but aircraft “are still the safest transport form that has ever been designed by humanity”.

“We will lose 44,000 people on the streets this year. We won't have a problem with an airplane near the aircraft,” he said.
