One thing about March Madness, which is so much fun, is that there is always an engineer. Teams with a low seed (sown 10-16) that pull through a surprise seem to always be given. However, the average number of disorders in every round is becoming less and less.

For example, the average upset is a total of 8.5 upsets. The slightest amount was in 2007 with three and most of them were in 2021 and 2022 with 14. In the next rounds there are an average of 4.7 in the first round, 3 faults of the second round and less than one.

Most disorders in the first round were eight in 2016. In 2000, however, there was only one. You will hear a lot of data and talk about the 12-seeds against the 5-seeds. This is due to the fact that this was mostly upset in the past. Nobody can really point out why.

Perhaps only to say that it is the most common excitement, all of these teams of the 12th seeds have enough belief to see. However, it is no longer the top. The 11-seed-over 6 seeds is now most common. 61 different times happened, good for 39.1% of the time in tournament history.

The 12th team did the team of fifth time in 35% of cases. The fourth team beat the team with the 13th Seed in 21% of cases. We saw how the 14th team defeated 14% of the cases the team with the third seed. The 15th Seed team beat the second team eleven times.

Finally, the number one seed was only annoyed by the 16th seed two different times. These were also new. In the second round, the most common annoyance of the 7 -seeds against the 2 -seed. This surprise has taken place 27 times.

Tips for choosing the winner this year

Now that the tournament is set, we take a quick look at some of the teams that have the best chances of winning. Remember, none of it is a precise science. It is March Madness and it is completely unpredictable, which is why everyone can win their bracket challenge!

If you want to deal with the favorite this year, choose Duke to drive the whole tournament to the championship. They are currently the favorite, followed by the next three seeds number one. Personally, I like Houston very much this year.

If you want to improve in one of these 11 seeds to beat a six-seed, there are two that really take off me from me. Drake against Missouri and VCU against byu. Drake and VCU are no strangers of the tournament and they are also no strangers for the agreement.

Have fun filling your bracket and remember that everything can happen in March Madness.
