Fiorentina 3-0 Juventus: Match Report and Highlights

Before the game

There were no staff in any camp, but it was something like a derby degli ex: Nico González started with Dušan Vlahović, while Moise Kean and Nicolò Fagioli were both in XI for Fiorentina. At least the heavy rain had cleared out enough for us to enjoy a clear sky and a perfect TiFo, especially with Giuseppe Rossi, Luca Toni and Gabriel Batistuta, who were watched by the stands.

First half

Juventus had the whole ball at the beginning and it looked as if Fiorentina was for an evening of suffering, but the viola began to grind into the game and took an early lead from her first corner. Robin Gosens' header was blocked on the way to the goose, but the goose hit the rebound by a slight distraction of Khephren Thuram. Incidentally, that was a deceptively difficult finish; Keeping a salt low and beating it so hard when it is out of balance is not easy at all.

The hosts ruthlessly gave the Franchi enough time to celebrate the first goal when they immediately beat again. Moise Kean won a header, Albert Guðmundsson put him off Nicolò Fagioli, and Rolando Mandragora made the sneaky run. Nicky Beans played it through and the mandrake ended in so many games brilliant for his second goal.

Fiorentina stopped the pressure and made several other good chances. It was not just a blown to Kean to do something cool. The team actually got together some good steps, but the real threat was outside of the obsession. Juve always made mistakes on the ball and the viola kept sweating her. It reminded of the Panathinaikos game; The concern in the break was that the urgent intensity would drop after the break.

Second half

Fiorentina fell off something, but Juve didn't use. There was a short pressure with pressure early in half, but David de Gea hadn't had much to do, and visitors broke back into mistakes again and did not look much as hopeless, as the third goal emphasizes. Fagioli played in a huge space between the lines that Guðmundsson could run and Albert races, looked almost surprised, drove forward and cracked his shot into the lower corner. It was a wonderful shot and the franchi sent in raptures.

That was the coffin that was closed when Juventus never stood after a comeback. Kean achieved a wonderful solo effort and rounded Michele di Gregorio, but he was well offside. Most of the time, Fiorentina gave the ball around for a while and occasionally defended a bit, but only a little. Apart from some flaming minds, everything was over the hour. The viola was obviously the better side with a land mile and deserves a lot of recognition for the performance, but visitors were simply terrible and Thiago Motta has already subjected an Inquisition.

What's next

This is extra cute because we can enjoy it for two full weeks of international break. It is also goals in consecutive games for both Mandragora and Guðmundsson, which feels important: the former is suddenly a verified big game player and the latter finally finds his feet after months of stops and starts.

However, it is even more important that the result Fiorentina in the 8th, a point in front of AC Milan and a point as Roma brings behind. In view of the brutal schedule at the end of the season, it is more than just the emotional thrust that the beating of the Bianconeri is always: there are 3 points that nobody can expect after a number of bad performances. Maybe, just maybe, there is still hope for the season.

And even if there is no 4 points from Juventus are quite great.
