Fiorentina vs. Juventus Match Preview: ZEIT, TV time plan and how to see Series A

In the 2024-25 season there are 10 games ahead of them. Ten other chances for Juventus, somehow try to save something in one season in which large disappointments – especially in the last month – had their moments.

This does not mean that the trust of doing it is so high when you consider that Juve lasted that they were absolutely played off the field from Atalanta in a matchup with the third and fourth place.

Now Juve drives to a stadium in which it does not lose love, no warm greeting through any imagination and certainly not an easy task in Florence.

What Juventus' answer to her blowout loss against Atalanta can be seen remains to be seen when you compete against Fiorentina in Franchi on Sunday evening. However, we know that you cannot aim to make Lazio falling a kind of postponement and points for a fourth time in the last month, even if you look for yourself nowadays with one of the most in form in series A. This means that Juve's trip to Florence suddenly became much more important than most of us probably saw it before things started against Atalanta last weekend.

I mean it was important before Fiorentina has proven to be difficult for many top teams this season, even if they cooled down after their hot start. But it is also because, as I have probably said too often in the past few months, there is a risk that this thing will be even worse with more sunken points.

But what the condition of the squad after the loss of blowout against Atalanta-a Memory that Juventus' worse home defeat since 19-foreign-67 is pretty much for everyone's assumption.

They were able to react in the same way as they had lost Napoli in Naples last month and begin another winning streak that made it possible for them to take fourth place in the table and even have small hopes for a surprising SCUDETTO push in the late season. Or you could basically do what you have done in the course of a large part of this season and just take another step back if things looked as if they were going to turn better.

However, the matter is that Juve will play a team in recent weeks that has had many of its own difficulties.

Do you remember the first months of the 2024-25 campaign when Fiorentina was among the top 4 and scored a route from nine victories in 10 games in autumn? Well, that feels like a long, long time for Fiorentina supporters. As much as the wild victory against Panathinaikos was in the 16 -member round of the UEFA Conference League of 16 years, it was also one at a time when La Viola's battles were impossible to question Raffaele Palladino's future, just like Thiago Motta, at Juventus.

Palladino's squad has only four victories in the 10 league games since Juve and Fiorentina played with a 2-2 draw in Turin a few days after Christmas. In the last five games in Serie A, Fiorentina has only won once – and this came against a Lecce team two weeks ago that is currently in 16th place.

While Juventus will be the much quieter side that Fiorentina does on Thursday-Sunday that nobody really enjoys, it is difficult to say which team actually gets better both physically and mentally.

And that is part of the problem of how the last few months for Juventus have gone. There were too many occasions to have a bouncal game that speaks volumes about how many disappointing moments have been lately. Now Juve is going into the Franchi and looks at a team against which they have had much success in recent years, but the current form of Motta squad indicate that it could be a total installment game on Sunday.

Team messages

  • Thiago Motta recovered three players before the trip to Florence, with Francisco Conceição, Nicolo Savona and Jonas Rouhi returned to training early this week.
  • This means that Juventus' four injured players are basically due to the three long-term injuries-Gleison Bremer, Juan Cabal and Arek Milik-and Douglas Luiz, who missed 20 games even this season.
  • Although it was a few weeks ago since he returned, there still seems to be a chance that Pierre Kalulu – probably Juve's best defender since Bremer's injury in October – will begin more Lloyd Kelly minutes.
  • All the signs indicate Kenan Yildiz after recovering from the stomach disease that forced him to embed over half during the loss last weekend against Atalanta.
  • As in the past few weeks, Andrea Cambiaso has been the only Juventus player to be a yellow card from the suspension. (As Nicolo Fagioli is, but he is currently not a Juventus player and is probably not again based on how he played with Fiorentina.)

Juventus player to see

In view of the fact that the former roast player on the Juventus squad, the Fiorentina fans likes to hate, it is very unlikely that he will start against his old club, the man who will lead the Bianconeri line seems to find out fairly easily.

If only with a little better figures in the last month, did he get this game, right?

The 26-year-old Frenchman has cooled down since his glowing beginner at Juventus, where Randal Kolo Muani scored five goals in his first three games with Bianconero.

Significant.

Sure, sure, sure … I know that it is not all his fault. There is only as much what a guy can do if the rest of her team Michele di Gregorio does not fight as you did against Atalanta last weekend. But the fact remains that since the three three games to start life in Turin, for Kolo Muani, looks like this:

  • Seven games in all competitions
  • Six starts
  • Two templates
  • Zero
  • Made a total of 11 shots

Well, crap, that's not great. Average less than one and a half shots of half a game is not great at all. (It is also a way to prevent a sum, but that's another matter.) While these two templates were nice, it is not exactly like the second, as Juventus won like the first.

No matter how well Kolo Muani plays or not, now that we enter Juventus in the second full month of his time, it is pretty easy to say that he remains one of the greatest target threats for this squad when he knows how Dusan Vlahovic has now descended into a banking role. The problem, however, is that there were so many other problems with this team, since Kolo Muanis arrived that the opponents are preparing to ensure that he is in the line -up, it is becoming increasingly difficult for him to replicate something close to what he did in early February.

With all the topics that Fiorentina had this season, you have the sixth best defensive record in series A, which knew that Palladino Monza also helped to have a strong defensive record for a club that is far above its weight last season, which should not be surprising. But despite the constantly changing starting positions and the forced change tactical setups due to countless number of injuries, they played well most of the time.

So if Kolo Muani is supposed to return to his goal, he will surely do a team that is by no means on his back.
