FIR against COP after viral video shows attacks on the students | Chandigarh News

Jind: A FIR was registered against a police officer on Friday after a video of him had become a few students with a baseball bat on social media platforms.
The incident had occurred when three students who came from the village of Badhana in the district of Jind were on the way to take their examination of class XII in a car and accidentally collided with the police officer.
In a complaint submitted by one of the victims, it was found that on February 27 at around 12 noon near the SD Senior Secondary School in Jind City to appear for their class XII exam.
When we parked our vehicle outside the school, another vehicle that came from behind hit our car. When we tried to stop it, the driver accelerated and raced away. We then followed the vehicle, and the accused, who was in a police uniform, stopped the car in the back lanes of the Gohana Road near Kaushik Nagar, claimed the complainant.
The defendant suddenly took a stick out of the vehicle and attacked us. As a result, we suffered injuries to the head, shoulder, back and legs, explained the complainant.
