Fire and rescue calls: Small fire in front of Alsea Highway among the latest answers

Friday, February. 14

• 3:09 p.m. – Firefighters reacted to the implementation of liquids at the Philomath High School.

• 8:08 pm rescue services and firefighters reacted to a one-vehicle rollover on the Highway 34 near the Botkin Road. The vehicle slipped off an icy road, turned and landed in a trench of about 20 feet down a embankment. No injuries were reported. See separate history.

Other calls: Rescue services reacted to calls at 12:22 p.m. (Decker Road), 4:07 p.m. (Hauptstraße) and 11:58 p.m. (Highway 34).

Saturday, February. 15

• No calls were reported.

Sunday, February. 16

• 7:26 a.m. – Firefighters reacted to a report about a small fire on the Highway 34 about 7 miles southwest of the intersection with the Highway 20. Firefighters found the fire, which was contained in a single area and was not spreading, about 20 meters removed. Autobahn and deletes it. Fire and rescue reported that the fire had ignited from abandoned Li-ion battery that were short-circuited.
