Fire causes “considerable” house in southern Jordan to “considerable” damage

South Jordan, Utah – A house in South -Jordania suffered “considerable” damage to his roof after the outbreak of a fire on Sunday morning.

Bryan Lessner, deputy fire chief of South Jordan, says Fox 13 News, the call came around 7:45 a.m. and reported a fire in a residential area near 100,000 South 4800 West.

As soon as the crews were on site, they saw visible smoke and flames from the roof of the house. With the help of West Jordan Fire and other agencies, they were able to keep the flames contained in the house and prevent them from spreading to nearby buildings.

Two residents were inside when firefighters arrived, but could surely come out. No injuries were reported in connection with the fire.

The flames were deleted, but fire investigators remain on site while they determine the cause. According to Lessner, the fire caused “considerable” damage to the roof, but the financial estimate still has to be determined.

This is a developing story. FOX 13 News will continue to provide updates as soon as they are available.
