Fire Crews Battle Two alarm structure Fire in Northborough-Boston 25 Messages

Northborough, Mass, – On Saturday, the fire department of Northborough was sent to a structural fire in 1 Jenkins Drive.

The crews responded on site around 4:01 p.m., with the responding crews known that all people could get out of the building, but several dogs were still in the building.

Northborough Fire Crews fought against the fire for almost 10 minutes before the reaction to a two-alarm reaction, with mutual help from Northborough, Westborough, Marlborough and Patriot ambulance.

The crews fought against the fire, which even extended to part of the brush behind the building before the crews were instructed to determine “breakdown zones” when several sections of the roof of the building collapsed.

The fire was explained under control at 5:36 p.m. without civil injuries being reported. However, a fireman suffered minor burns on both arms, received a treatment and remained on site.

The Massachusetts Fire District 14 Fire Investigation Team, the Massachusett fire marshal, the police from Northborough and Northborough Fire are currently investigating the cause of the fire. From now on, the cause remains indefinite.

An excavator was brought in to reduce the remaining structure and help with the full deletion of the fire. Unfortunately, the dogs that were reported inside have not yet been found.

This is a developing story. Look for updates as soon as more information is available.
