Fire harms at home in Kent

Kent- A homeowner is attributed to the fact that a great misfortune broke out in a bedroom of the family's wooden frame on Pferdestraße in Kent in Kent.

Justyn Lewis, head of the fire brigade of Lake Carmel, said the resident closed the bedroom door before he fled three bedrooms from the one -story residence of 200 square meters, which contained fire in the single room.

Mutual help was conjured up and members of the fire brigades Carmel, Kent, Brewster, Patterson and East Fishkill reacted with workers and tank trucks, since Kent is not serviced by a municipal water system.

An injury was reported when the owner's cat frightened the excitement that resulted from flames and smoke and attacked her master.

The person was treated by EMTS and paramedics at the scene.

Also support were members of the Carmel Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the Kent Ems squad, the Empress, paramedic and the Putnam Bureau of Emergency Services Battalion 16 coordinator George Wahlers.

The Putnam Fire Investigation Team also replied.
