Fire risk and strong winds will continue tonight

Corpus Christi, TX – Happy Tuesday!

What you need to know

  • Red flag warning in force until 9 p.m.
  • Wind counseling in force until 6 p.m.

Strong winds, low relativity and dry vegetation have led to another fire risk in the coastal bending. Please continue to use caution that all outdoor activities can cause or start a fire.

The concerns regarding the risk of fire will take care of, since the conditions will improve a little tomorrow and Thursday, since the wind speeds remove and gradually switch in a southeast direction, which means that more moisture returns to the area.

Tonight we will feel cooler with temperatures in the 50s under a clear night sky. This week we will remain mainly sunny sky with warm afternoon temperatures.
