Fire Sunday leaves Schaumburg Homes uninhabitable

A fire in the early morning on Sunday in a residence near Meacham Road and Williamsburg Drive in Schaumburg left several coach houses uninhabitable.

Spectators said the fire broke out about 4 a.m. in the unity of the second floor of a dead end building with eight units. At least two Schaumburg Fire Department Ladder Trucks, several ambulances and other vehicles reacted to the fire with at least five Schaumburg car cars.

Firefighters were not immediately available to comment on whether there were injuries.

A couple, a man and a woman who wrapped in ceilings and wore her nine -month -old child hurried to the car of a relative who said he was the father of the man. He said his son smoke smoke, alerted his wife and evacuated her family.

Another woman clasping a small dog who scurried from the area into a waiting car. Two other women, who were also wrapped in ceilings with a cat in a carrier at their feet, looked at the structure, while firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.

Smoked continued from the unity of the second floor after the flames were deleted. Firefighters who wear flashlights were able to move in the units affected.

A social media post from Hannover Township Emergency Services showed that they supported Schaumburg firefighters.
