Fire weather watch for Saturday in Bladen – exhibited –

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has published a fire -minded guard for Saturday in Bladen County because of the expectant gusty wind and low relative humidity in the southeastern North Carolina and in the northeast of South Carolina.

A fire weather clock means that critical fire weather conditions should occur. The clock on Saturday will be in force from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Although a burning ban is not in force, the emergency services of Bladen County, together with the NC Forestry Service, recommend that all outdoor burns are delayed until the weather conditions improve.

The winds on Saturday in the region are forecast from the southwest of around 15 miles per hour with gusts of up to 25 miles per hour. The relative humidity can only drop 20%. These conditions mean that every fire that develops, catches and spreads
fast. Burning outdoors is not recommended.

The clock on Saturday also includes the counties Robeson, Columbus, New Hannover and Brunswick in North Carolina.
