A total of 13 weapons were confiscated by the police and 5 kg heroin

Firearms, ammunition and drugs were confiscated by a vehicle that tried to get to the United Kingdom.

A submachine weapon, scorpion cannons and pistols were among the 13 confiscated weapons, while 5 kg heroin was also discovered in Dover, said the National Crime Agency (NCA).

The officials found the objects, which also included 300 round ammunition, in a tailor-made section of the SUVS foot wave when he entered the country from France.

Kasha Sanderson, 39, from Bristol, Somerset, was charged with the import of firearms, ammunition and drugs in class A in connection with the confiscation.

It was held in police custody, said the NCA.

The national crime authority said that the weapons were bound to the criminal market

Daren Nicholls, Senior Investigating Officer from NCA, said that it was a “significant confiscation of fatal firearms that were intended for the British criminal market”.

“Our investigation in order to track down the criminals organized for this attempted import continues at speed,” he said.

“The availability of firearms for criminals in Great Britain has top priority for the NCA, and we work closely with domestic and international partners to do this.”

The NCA said that the tests take to check whether the weapons were viable.

Mr. Sanderson will appear at the Canterbury Crown Court next month.
