Firefighters fight massively overnight Dallas Apartment Fire-Nbc 5 Dallas-Fort

Firefighters fought for a big fire for several hours in a two -story residential complex in Dallas for several hours on Monday morning.

According to Dallas Fire-Rescue, the units responded to a call to a structural fire in an apartment complex in the Larmanda Street 6749 Larmanda Street at 12:42 p.m.

Officials said that when firefighters arrived in the two -story residential complex, they saw heavy fire from a unit of one of the buildings on the first floor.

Firefighters began to attack the fire, but the fire was in the advanced stages and spread quickly, said officials.

According to firefighters, a second alarm response was requested at 12:57 p.m., at this point in time firefighters all moved out of the building and initiated the tactics of defensive oppression.

Officials said about 45 to 50 firefighters used hand lines and air conductor towers to suppress the flames.

Firefighters explained that the fire had been broadcast at 4:43 a.m., officers said.

According to Dallas firefighters, it is unclear how many residents were affected, but no injuries were reported in connection with the fire.

The cause of this fire remains indefinite, said officials.
