Firefighters have released a small outer fire in the northern Boone County

Six firefighters of the Boone County Fire Protection District have a small fire in the forest on Hickory Dr. brought out Boone County in the north.

According to captain Stephen McLane from Boone County Fire Protection District, the crews were sent to the area at 2:12 a.m. to report a fire in the forest. According to McLane, firefighters were able to control the fire.

According to McLane, no injuries were reported and no structures were damaged.

An ambulance, two fire engines and at least two fire engines saw on site in an ABC 17 video video.

The scene was clarified shortly after 3 a.m.
