First alarm weather day Wednesday

WWSB ABC7 News at 5 p.m.

Sarasota, Florida (WWSB) – get ready to move in a disturbing weather on Wednesday while a strong cold front moves through the area. The ABC7 First Alert Wassert team called a first watchful weather day on Wednesday afternoon, which means that the weather for the afternoon hours in our area becomes a problem. The striker line will move through the area shortly after 1 p.m. It looks at this point. This line will continue to weaken when it presses the rest of the afternoon to the south, but is still able to produce a medium to strong precipitation for S. Sarasota and inland areas until 5 p.m., do not expect the whole day, but it could be an hour or so rough if the front moves through its neighborhood.

Expect that a number of storms will run through in the afternoon on Wednesday(Wwsb)

We are in a marginal or lowest risk of getting a few heavy storms when the line goes through. That means we could see winds that turned to 50 to 60 miles per hour, with a few of the storms moving through the area. Most areas will only see the line moderate to heavy rain. Do not expect the rain to stay round for more than a few hours. The rainfall add up over 1/4 to 1/2 inch rain over the largest part of the area. Some isolated areas could see up to one centimeter rain.

The Storm Prediction Center brought parts of our area into the danger zone. Although we still see low, we were still able to get one or two storms serious. Much better chance for our north(Wwsb)

Behind the front winds will contact the NW to N, which heralds a fairly cold weather for the area on Thursday and Friday morning. The lows on Friday morning will be in the middle to upper 40 in the morning, but will quickly heat up to the low until the mid -1970s to the afternoon.

We will see a nice day on Saturday, but then another cold front will move around the area on Sunday, which brings another chance for some showers and a potential first alarm weather on Sunday. Too early to name it, but a first alarm weather is at this time for the potential for annoying weather on Sunday afternoon.

Remember to turn your watches into bed an hour before going to bed on Saturday evening or early Sunday morning.

For boaters on Tuesday we will see winds from the SE at 10-15 knots and seas that run about 2 feet with a moderate chopping on the water. We will see how these winds will be picked up on Wednesday, which will probably lead to the water from Wednesday to Thursday morning for the waters.
