Fischer catch, massive large white shark in front of Hatteras Island Shore :: Wral.com

The fishermen had the greatest catch of their life along the coast of North Carolina.

The video along the banks of Frisco on Hatteras Island has recorded Fischer, who catch and released an almost 13 -foot white shark.

Fischer Luke Beard said it was an extraordinary moment.

“It is breathtaking that a 12 to 13 feet, 1,400 to 1,800 pound animals jump out of the water on the hook set,” he said.

Beard and Jason Rosenfeld, who fished together on Saturday, believed that it was one of the largest sharks in North Carolina while he was able to fish on the beach.

“There were a few big white in North Carolina. None of them was as big as this,” said Beard.

The two have 40 years of experience in fishing. Beard described how to let the shark safely back into the water.

“There is no delay,” said Beard. “It is such a small time window and you have to be super exactly with what you do.”

They worked with a team together with specialized devices to quickly return the shark to the sea.

In North Carolina, leisure fishermen according to state law and the national oceanic atmospheric management are necessary to relieve all recorded sharks, including the forbidden species without removing them from the water and maximizing their survival.

Commercial fishermen can keep some types of sharks in the season.
