Five Lincoln educators who were honored on the day of the recognition of teachers in Nebraska

Lincoln, alongside (Koln) – Five educators of the public school educators in Lincoln were recognized for their hard work and their commitment in the governor's villa in honor of the Nebraska Teacher Recognition Day.

Every educator was presented at the Thanks You Teacher celebration with a certificate of appreciation and $ 1,000 by the Lincoln Public School. The list of this year's award winners and nominators is as follows:

Pre-school 2nd class

Taylor Yaußsi, preschool teacher at the Kooser primary school

3.-5. Class

Kaylin Gardner, music teacher at the Arnold Elementary School

Nominated by: Alaina Wenske, current student

Middle school

Jay Lockard, Industry -Tech teacher at the Scott Middle School

High school

Tony Quattrocchi, Teacher for Social Sciences at the Lincoln North Star High School

Retired teacher

Doris Vienna, retired teacher
