Flood guard exhibited for all of West New York

It looks like the month of March has brought in the memo like a lion this year, at least the weather.

The first week of March will be wild here in West -New York, since many different types of weather from sunshine to rain, calm to windy gusts and even snow and ice cream later a week.

It was a cold and snow -covered winter and a lot of this snow is still on site, which could lead to a big flood problem in West -New York because the temperatures are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday. We could see temperatures in the 50s before falling back to the 1930s when we go for the weekend.

Due to the warm-up, the flooding could be an important problem for parts of Western New York, and this has caused the National Weather Service to spend a flood guard for all Western New York and in parts of the North News along Lake Ontario.

The flood guard will be from tomorrow afternoon and until Thursday afternoon, as the warm weather can lead to the snow snow and rivers melted into a flood level. Ice jam is also possible, which can also lead to floods.

Heavy rain on Tuesday and Wednesday will also be the biggest concern for floods, whereby almost a centimeter rain is expected over a period of 48 hours in the middle of the week.

It is expected that the temperatures will fall back into the 1930s on Thursday and that snow will probably continue in the afternoon and the weekend.
