Florida Atlantics Perry, Memphis' Smith deserves the final women of women weekly honors

Irving, Texas – – The American Athletic Conference announced the last winners of the league's weekly women's basketball prices for the week on Tuesday, March 4.

Player of the week
Mya Perry, Jr., G, Florida Atlantic

Perry exploded for a career high of 31 points to end the season with a victory for Florida Atlantic. She shot 11 out of 19 from the field, while she went 7: 8 from the charity strip. She added three rebounds, two assists and two steals in the victory over Memphis.

Newcomer of the week
Tamya Smith, Fr., F, Memphis

Smith continued her recent career high performances with a 21-point trip against Florida Atlantic. The striker shot 64 percent out of the field and added five rebounds.

Praise

Lovisa Asbrink Hose, Fr., C, Florida Atlantic

Asbrink Hoose helped the owls to win at the end of the season and shot 43 percent with three rebounds from the field.

Tommisha Lampkin, Sr., F, Nordtexas

Lampkin recorded her 16-hour double double of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds and put together the program record for most career double double.

Delanie Crawford, Sr., G., Tulsa

Crawford ended the double double to end the season. He scored 16 points and showed 10 rebounds in the victory in Wichita State.

Jordyn Jenkins, R-Sr., F, Utsa

Jenkins ended the regular season with an excursion of 26 points in the victory in East Carolina. She added six rebounds in the victory.

Salese Blow, Sun., G, Wichita State

Blow scored 17 points in the season finale and added five rebounds and a few steals.
