Florida Gator Softball Set Single Game Scoring Record

Telephoneix, Az. -The softball team from Florida No. 3 provided three new single game program records in Runs (24), Hits (22) and RBI (23) in his 24-3-five-in-run-Rule victory about the state of Iowa In the final in Iowa State on Game of the Sun Devil Classic on Sunday morning.

With the victory, the Gators improve to 18: 1 and emphasize a 5-0 weekend in Arizona, which included victories against New Mexico State, California Baptist, Arizona State, GCU and the Cyclones.

13 different gators scored at least one goal in victory against the state of Iowa, including four multi-hit appearances by seniors Kendra Falby (4-for-4) and Junior Korbe Otis (3- against 3), Kenleigh Cahalan (3 for -4) and Jocelyn Erickson (3-by-4).

Cahalan met her third Homerun of the weekend and brought her five-game rbi to 13, while Brooke Barnard's first hit of her last year was a solo homerun and the run that broke the program record.

Sophomore Olivia Miller (2-0) achieved her second victory in the circle and threw four innings and allowed six goals and three runs with four strikeouts.
