Florida Gators climbing in 7th place after winning against Miami

The Florida Gators continued their strong start into the season and ended the week with a 4-1 record, including a victory in the series of margin against the Miami rival in the state. After Florida won victories against VERTON and North Florida at the beginning of the week, Florida took the first two games of the weekend series against the Hurricanes before dropping the Sunday final.

Despite the loss at the end of the series, Florida's performance was sufficient to bring them to a place in the D1baseball rankings this week that jumped from No. 8 to No. 7. Trainer Kevin O'Sullivan's squad showed his offensive firepower and pitching depth all week and proves that it is one of the most complete team in the country.

Key artist: Boser, Heyman and Lawson Shine

One of Florida's outstanding players this week was the senior information Bobby Boser. Boser delivered an outstanding performance and beat .400, while adding two home runs, four RBIs and seven Runs. His consistency on the plate provided a large boost for Gator's crime.

The catcher Luke Heyman also went to the presence, especially when winning on Saturday via Miami, where he reduced two Homeruns with two runs and made up four of Florida's six runs. His power boost was instrumental in securing the series victory.

Another important employee was the newcomer Brendan Lawson, who was on a tear at the beginning of the season. Lawson fought for the week .388, drove in four runs and scored six times. His ability to get to the base and produce runs was a great good for Florida.

Injury concerns may be Florida

While winning the series was a success, Florida suffered some significant injuries that could have long -term effects. The second Baseman Cade Kurland left the game on Saturday after playing a diving game and suffering from a shoulder loss. The medical staff was able to put it back into force, but his timeline for the return remains uncertain. Kurland was an integral part of the Gator's series and beat Runs this season with three homes, 13 RBIs and eight .353.

The second concern of injuries is the left-handed Pierce Coppola, which was drawn in the third inning of the game on Saturday after back-to-back battery. O'Sullivan and the medical staff opted for caution, and while Coppola insisted that he was fine, the decision to remove him raises questions about his availability.

Around 25: Texas A & M Plummets, new teams appear in rankings

While Florida rose in Texas A&M the largest autumn of the week. The Aggies joined a defeat of four games on Sunday before scored them with a dominant 14: 4 run of the rum runs against rice. However, the damage was already done when they stormed from 1st to No. 14. The loss of the third Baseman base Gavin Grahovac for the season due to a shoulder injury clearly affected her performance.

In the meantime, four new teams entered the top 25 in the back of the ranking.

As new teams were connected, several programs fell from the ranking, including Duke (formerly No. 17), Mississippi State (formerly No. 18), Cincinnati (formerly No. 23) and TCU (formerly No. 25).

Look ahead

The gators will try to build on their dynamics if they go against UCF and FAU in two games of the week. The depth is tested with injuries to the most important players, but Florida has the talent to stay under the elite of the nation. If your bats stay hot and keeps pitching, you can expect the gator to continue climbing the ranking.
