Florida Gator's tournament destination unveiled

The goal of the Florida Gators for the NCAA tournament was unveiled.

Hours after winning the SEC tournament with a victory against Tennessee, the Gators won number 1 in the West region, good for the total name of the number 4 in the entire NCAA tournament and will play in TNT on Friday in Raleigh, North Carolina, from 6:50 p.m. No. 16 Norfolk.

“Only incredibly proud of our program. Beginning with our players. You did an incredible job all year round just to be trainable and selfless,” said Golden, after winning his first conference title as head coach of Florida. “We knew at the beginning of the year that we had really good talent. But what separates us is our selflessness, our willingness to put the well -being of the program before ourselves.

“Our employees did an incredible job all year round. One of the best employees of America, which are prepared for our boys, consistently, are good role models for these boys. That is what I am most proud of is how well our boys compete, whether we are in our way or not. They will always answer the bell and give their best effort.

“I am really proud that we can call ourselves the SEC tournament champions.”

For the first time in over 10 years after an 86: 77 victory against Tennessee on Sunday, the Gators won its first second tournament championship. The security guard Walter Clayton Jr. was offensive with 22 points and four 3-clayers, while Richard added 17 points, while he rose 8: 8 from the charity strike.

Both were included in the Sec All Tournament team, with Clayton Jr. also appointed MVP of the tournament.

Floridas Clinching of a No. 1 seed is the first time that the Gator has been organizing a top regional seed in the NCAA tournament since the 2013/14 season, in which the program has held number 1 in the entire tournament.
